A German university is offering scholarships to 3 people who would have to do absolutely nothing university of fine arts in Hamburg is accepting applications for the scholarships for doing nothing until September 15 the world we are living in is driven by the belief in success and growth in money this thinking was leading us into the ecological crisis and social injustice we are living in we wanted to turn that upside down giving a grant not for the best and for doing a project but for doing nothing professor Friedrich von Borries creator of the scholarship project told C. N. N.

applicants of any age and any nationality can apply for the $1 900 stipend questions from the application form what do you what not to do how long do you want not to do it for why is it important not to do this particular thing why are you the right person not to do it all applications will be featured and not immensely of course in the school of inconsequential elegy exercises for a different life an upcoming exhibition at Hamburg's museum of art and design focused on sustainability I think that doing nothing is not that easy you can fail your surroundings

The school said the award cash will be given when the picked candidates present their experience reports in mid-January. Von Borries said the members who present their reports will be paid whether or not their endeavor at inertia was effective.

All submitted applications will frame part of a show called The School of Inconsequentiality: Towards A Better Life, which is made arrangements for November. The presentation will investigate the inquiry: "What would i be able to shun with the goal that my life has less negative outcomes on the lives of others

Von Borries said the thought is to investigate the connection between how society supports supportability and how society places an incentive on material achievement
