Trump sues Jan. 6 committee, seeks to block subpoena
Former president Donald Trump is suing the January 6 committee days before his testimony is due.
The committee which is investigating the attack on the capitol issued a subpoena weeks ago for documents and that testimony which is set for Monday the former president says, The subpoena infringes on his first amendment rights and does not further a legislative purpose the committee has not responded.
